Behind this business is Sheldon Bowlin, a husband, a father, and a land professional who built something he believed in from the ground up. Sheldon and his wife have been together since they were 15 years old — two kids who fell in love, built a life, and never lost sight of what matters most. They've been married seven years and are raising their son, Maverick — bright, strong-minded, and full of spirit. This business carries his name because everything we do, we do for our family and for the families we work with.
Why We Exist
We didn't build Maverick Land Capital to flip parcels or chase volume. We built it because we saw how often good landowners — hardworking people who deserved better — were left navigating a process that felt confusing, impersonal, and just plain exhausting. So we created one.
